The Kinsella School of Ballet follows the Code of Conduct of the Royal Academy of Dance which promises to:

Uphold the trust placed in them by students, parents, guardians and the RAD, by maintaining high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside the dance studio or school, in particular:

treating pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect,

and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s

professional position

having regard for the need to safeguard students’ well-being, in accordance

with good practice and statutory requirements imposed upon them

showing tolerance of and respect for the rights, faiths and beliefs of others

ensuring that personal beliefs are not expressed in ways which offend

students or their families or exploit students’ vulnerability, and

acting with integrity in all professional and business judgements,

demonstrating honesty, fair dealing, courtesy and consideration for other dance professionals, organisations, students and their families at all times.

There are three 10 week terms per year running from September to June.

Fees are due on the first day of each term and are non-refundable.

The School is responsible for Students in the Studio only and only for the duration of the relevant class.

Parents must collect their children on time at the end of their class.

Students must wear the regulation RAD uniform and be properly groomed with hair in a bun or ponytail.

Ballet is a disciplined art form. As such, all Students are expected to behave courteously to their teachers and classmates.

Students taking RAD  Awards & Exams must attend all regular classes and any extra classes scheduled leading up to the exam. If less than 80% of these classes are attended by a student, they may be withdrawn from the Exam.

The Director of the School makes all decisions on the eligibility of students for  Awards & Exams.

By completion of the Registration Form at the point of enrollment of each student, parents are agreeing to abide by our School Policies.
