Fiona Kinsella is the Principal and Director of the Kinsella School of Ballet.

Fiona is a fully qualified and registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) with over 25 years teaching experience.  She also holds a first class honours degree in Communications and a Masters in International Relations from Dublin City University.  She has dedicated her career to providing ballet classes of the highest quality to students from all over Dublin.  Before teaching and choreographing ballet and contemporary dance in Dublin Fiona taught Royal Academy of Dance Classes in the Middle East.  She also worked at the Gate Theatre, Dublin before founding her own school, the Kinsella School of Ballet, in 2005.  As well as delivering classes to her ballet students, she is a mentor on the Royal RAD Teacher Training programme.

As Artistic Director Fiona choreographs, produces and directs all of our school shows alongside teaching and preparing the students for Royal Academy of Dance Exams. She has also produced and directed 2 short dance films.

Aoife Kinsella is the Head of Junior Ballet Classes at the Kinsella School of Ballet

Head of Junior School

Aoife began ballet when she was 6 years old completing all of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) grades up to Advanced level. She completed her RAD Teaching Certificate under the mentorship of Fiona and is a fully qualified and registered teacher with over 15 years teaching experience.

She has also completed a BA in Media Arts from Dublin Institute of Technology. Her focus was on short documentary films concentrating on various areas of music and dance. Her expertise in Film Production is regularly incorporated into our School shows.
